Just us

I grew up with 2 sisters, mom, a dad, a aunt, an uncle, 3 cousins, 2 grandma, and a grandpa. My world and life was always around these people. I was a happy girl and always had someone to play with or spend time with. My kids are not as lucky.. They just have me! Is very sad to see that no one (only their dad) calls to check on them. no one visits them and no one picks them up. I am teaching them that all they have is me and their siblings and I guess this is a great opportunity to teach them about it. They have family around them they have aunts and cousins but funny how they are all busy to take the time to call them.. any ways..
Got report cards.. excellent! the teacher gave me great comments about them and I am very proud of my lil monsters! my business is just starting to get out there/ I got my van ready with my magnets and decals, got postcards and cards so I am all ready... we are taking a trip to Mexico in Feb to visit my husbands mom who is very sick and dying.. other than that nothing new around here these days!

Life

Took the kids fishing the other day. They had a blast! It was their first time doing this in salt water so they were exited specially when all the dolphins and manatees decided to come and preform a nice show for us. It was beautiful! they were so close to us that I am sure we could have reached in and touch them. So nice!!

School is going fantastic for us so far. Yariliz (11) had a hard time last year with classes and with was very shy and quiet this year she started a private school where her class size is of SIX ... 6 ... including her.. her self esteem has gone up from -1 to 9! It is a wonderful feeling to know that I did something right. I can't believe the positive change I see in her in only a month! God is amazing and he never leaves us!

KJ is doing first grade work the teacher says he is to smart for KG. He know how to add and how to take away and he can do the problems really fast in his head. So I am very very proud of him and all he has done in his short school life.

Sarit and Gaby are both doing great and are both great helpers in the house. Gaby has not taken her pill in more than 4 months and she is doing exellent at school and in the house! she is amazing and has an amazing heart!

we started the "jewel Jars" system and I went and did it the cheap way.. I got baby food yars and wrote their names on it. They get 3 beads for cleaning their room, 4 for chores, 2 for helping out when needed, I also take away when they dont follow rules or hit. The first one to reach the top wins a price and gets to choose were we are spending our family night at. So far they love this system!

Updates =))

Me = I am so behind on school work! Nothing due in the next few days but readings are not being done as planned. I need to get back on tracked.. I am so tired lately because Yoshi has not been sleeping at night and is taking a lot of my little anergy. I need a boost so I can do all I have to do. Schedules with the kids are running as planned. Everyone is actually doing good and following what's expected of them.

Yariliz - Lily is doing great in school. She loves it! is funny because I used to beg her to wear shorts and skirts and all she wanted to wear was jeans...  Now she wants to only wear shorts and skirts! talk about a boost in her self esteem!

Gabi- she has been off the pill for a few months and was doing ok until last month. The teacher told me she needed to focus more and finish her work.

KJ - My little monkey and the only one that wants does not wants to follow instructions or schedules! We are taking it little by little with him. He is a man and is spoiled.

Sarit - Loves her Prek!!! we are so exited that she adjusted so well!! she never been to daycare (without me) so this is all new for her, but she loves it! poor thing!

Jahziel - TEETHING! he really needs some sleep! he is very cranky but I think that teeth is about to pop!

Focused

The kids (update)

Yariliz.. she is with her grandma for the weekend poor girl the things she has to see and listen to. I hope that this court situation wont damage her for life. she is so sweet and so innocent! You know I take care of this girl at the extreme. God gave her to me to take care of her. I dont allow her to spend the night at anyones house, she is not allow to visit friends, and she has never ever been to daycare. I love her to much to put her  in harms way! so until she is 28 this is the way it will be!!

Gabi... sweet Gabi is being such a good girl! no more pills for her ADHD I guess she out grew it! I am so proud of her and the way she is handling her stress and her angers!

Mr Monkey ... I love that boy!

Sarit.... nothing much going on with her other than her being happy that her brother Kaleb is finally back! them 2 can burn a city!

Mister Yoshi.... waking up every hour to nurse is killing me! he is army crawling and talking so much more!! I am so in love with my lil man!

Fun with the kids!

I finally had to have fun with all the FIVE for the first time in 3 months. We had a blast! I got pizza and we had a lil picnic at the park and then they hit the splash pad. It was raining so I couldn't take many photos. But I got a few.

I can't even begin to explain how Gabriela is behaiving! I was having major problems with her (ADHD) and I was at the border of loosing it.. well she came back as a new girl! no more tentrums, no more morning crying, no more going nuts for no reason! the best part is that she has been meds free for 6 days and she is doing fantastic! I told her she wont have to take it but if she starts acting up then  we will have to start! she is doing so good! Yesterday she had a lil accident and scratched her face she was going nuts but thats how princesses get when they get hurt.

almost 2 weeks with no red meats and love it! We have done only chicken and some seafood and Oh my I love it! we will continue!

Florida weather

My kids came back to Florida 2 days ago from Puerto Rico.. well they were in PR for 3 months and never Gabriela suffered from allergies or bloody nose.. or Kaleb suffered from Asthma... so guess what? they started with their asthma, allergies, and nose bleeds..!! on day 1! come on Florida! I know this is so true it happens to a lot of people! I should move to the island again.

Kaleb- First day in school and the teacher already told me how he was not paying attention and focusing. My child is a boy that loves to observe everything so I bet he was observing, looking, and touching. This morning he woke up with asthma so he took his meds.

Gabi -  She loved her school! she said it was fun and she go to help little kids learn their homework. I am so glad for her. 2 days and no ADHD pillls!! so exited about that. Hopefully she can continue without them.

Sarit -  well she was not happy this morning either so she left crying. My Husband had to deal with it while I got the other kids ready.

Yariliz - she keeps liking her school. She is so into photography and I am really taking my time to try to teach her stuff. If this is something she likes then we have something in common to do just the 2 of us.

Jahziel - Nothing much with him. He says Lil (Lily) and he does it when she is around, so he is calling her. she loves to spoil him (yariliz).

Me- had no homework done yesterday! Booooo! so today I am going to catch up with that! 8 days with no red meats and is not that bad! I actually enjoy it.

Happy to have my Cinco....

My kids are all together again. KJ and Gabi made it home last night after a long vacation in Puerto Rico. I can't even begin to explain the Joy and the relief I feel that they made it home in one piece. I am just glad to have my normal life back with all my 5 stars. My sky was empty with just a few stars. My sunshine was missing and the cutest stars of all was absent.

KJ looks exactly the same he looked 3 months ago. He was so happy to see me. His eyes sparkled as he ran to my arms. As usual he jumped on me and hugged me for like it seems for ever. he started Kinder today he sure was happy! my baby monkey is growing up so fast!!!

Gabi looks precious as usual. Looks like she gained a few pounds over at the island. She was so happy to see us all and be home again.

My house finally feels complete and normal. Jahzi feels kind of lost he can't remember them so he is observing his siblings.... ahhhhhh! now to unpack. I sent little stuff over and they came back packed!

First day of school

Sarit started PreK today!! she loved it!! she was so happy when she came back home. I cant believe she did not cry when I dropped her off so proud of her! my baby away from me for 6 hours?? I had no idea what to do with my time. I missed her so much. Her bus was 45 minutes late but the bus driver is my friend so I knew she was ok!

yariliz Loved her school. she is so exited to be in a private school and with 6 girls in her classroom. she is a jewel and a gift from God.

Gabriela and Kaleb are returning tomorrow!! YAYYYY!! I am so exited to see them again after 3 months of them being away from me!

Stressed

I am so over this drama with my ex! I mean really why is he so stupid? and why  does he allows his wife to control his life? all I want is for my daughter have a normal relationship with her dad! I mean, really why can't he make the effort to bond with her and not allow someone else to control his time with her? Can you believe that woman sent MY daughter with her ex husband's house? how dare she?? she is MY daughter not hers!!! I would never had allowed her to go to anyone house much less a man I have no clue who he is!! I am so done with all of this! so I will take one day at a time and try to keep her here until he realises that he needs to be a man and tell his controlling wife to step off!!

anyways.... My kids are finally coming home on Tuesday!! i can't wait to see them! I missed them so much and I cant wait to hug them and kiss them!

I had open houses yesterday for all of them and I love their school. They will be starting a new private christian school so is something totally new for them! I am so exited for this opportunity . Sarit is starting headstart and she is not exited at all.... She keeps saying is KJ's school and not hers, so I know on Monday it will be crying time!! That girl needs to get to school for real! she is very delay in her speech and because of state budgets they are giving bigger kids (5 year olds) priority so we have to wait her turn. I hope she really learns new words and new things.

I started my semester and I am already lost! I need to find a way to organize myself and stay organized. I think when they are all back to school it will be so much easier for me to stay up to date with my school! I am so exited and I cant wait to finish my degree and go out and work! is my 3rd year so almost 1 1/2 years and I am done. I am seriously taking 18 credits next semester.. is a lot but with the kids in school I have lots of time in my hand to do it, and do it right!

Organization!

Yesterday I started my semester in college and wow! I have 4 classes to take and I will be super busy. I need to get organized ASAP. My kiddos will be here in 6 days and I am almost done with their schedules, chores, and other charts. Last year we did One chore a day for each and I would assign them, but this year I am not sure if I want to start putting chores in a bag and have them pick out a paper. We had major problems with me setting the chores on the chart because they "did that one last week" or "how come she never does that" So I think I will give the bag thing a try.

They start school on Monday the 23rd but 2 of them wont be home until the 24th so that means they will miss 2 days of school. I am very exited because they are starting a new school! A private christian school! Very exited that they have the opportunity to do this!

Back to school = headache!!

Nothing much happening my way today.. my house is kind of boring when we are missing two! =( I been planning back to school schedules and I already have a big major headache! Between supplies,, clothes, shoes, socks, schedules I think I might go bananas!

I go back to school on the 16th so this will get interesting once again! I am taking 4 classes this semester but 5 next semester!

OMG talk about terrible 3's!!!!! I am so ready for her to start school!!!! she is such a independent little girl and she thinks she is the boss! her favorite word right now... " you annoying".. WTH? Really? LOL the thinks the learn from us and older siblings!

A new day...

Jahziel been doing really good about sitting up alone! we are so proud of him and he is very proud too. LOL he likes to sit up playing to play his toy piano.. I am so blessed with these kids! I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to be their mama! they are the cutest, sweetest, nicest kids around.. OH and coolest! LOL

I am still missing Gabi and KJ so much, my house is so empty without them.. they will back on the 24th and I cant wait!!!!!

School starts on the 23rd this year and I am very exited to get started. I have planning day tomorrow about the "House Rules" "chores chart" and "behavior chart" these charts usually works for us! Everyone knows what we expect from them, they all now what to do and when, and they know what will happen when they decide to be naughty! I need to sit down and plan and then make the charts before they are back!

School starts for me on the 16th and I cant wait to finish my B.A.. it has taken me a good 8 years ::blush:: between breaks and pregnancies! But hey at least I am doing it!

Lamberto is still studying for his ASVAB test! I am so proud of him ... he is not fluent in English and his first practice test he got a score of 6, second time a passing score of 31, and 3rd time he got a score of 36!!!! He is so exited and ready for the real thing! we will see.. he has to go back on the 19th!! This will be a life changing event for all of us! We really need this! my ex is also joining so at least my other kiddos will have their benefits!

Gabi: she called me last night crying that she wanted to come home but was going to miss her daddy.. she is very sad! Poor girl she is a true daddy's girl! I feel so bad, I want to make it better but I cant!
Kaleb: He is more worried about his lunch box i got him than coming home!
Sarit and lily have been playing like crazy today...
Jahziel is sitting up with out support!! we are so exited and he is so proud!
